Have you seen 'River of Blood'? No. Its not real blood. That was the colour of dyed bright red. It was an illegal dye dump by nearby plant of Jian (or Jianhe) River.
The Jian (or Jianhe) River runs through Luoyang in the Henan province of China. It was an eerie for Locals but later government tracked down the mystery. It was two small chemical plants dumping red dye into the city's storm water pipe. The plants stand accused of illegally producing red dye for firework wrappers in preparation for the Chinese New year before dumping the excess into the water supply. Workers at the factory claim they rinsed a batch of red plastic bags for recycling and didn't expect the consequences.
At first instance, i thought that somewhere 'Battle of Panipat' was fought. Have you remembered? Battles in History. I do believe that these Battles of past must have shed human blood like the one which we can see in the photo.
